Democrats favorability numbers falls below GOP: Rasmussen

Rasmussen on Monday released a new poll that found the number of likely voters who view Democrats favorably has now dropped below those who view Republicans favorably.
The Rasmussen poll found that 48% of likely U.S. voters view Republicans favorably while 45% view Democrats favorably. The survey of 1,184 likely voters also found that 35% of voters now have a very unfavorable opinion of Democrats, while 36% have a very unfavorable impression of Republicans.
The poll additionally found that 84% of Republican voters view their own party favorably, while 80% of Democrats do. Among Independents, 38% view Republicans favorably compared to 32% for Democrats.
The survey was conducted from October 7-9, 2025, with an error margin of plus or minus three percentage points.
