The Rasmussen poll questioned more than 1,000 likely U.S. voters about the midterms and the president's second term, where 80% of respondents said it is likely that Trump will be impeached if Democrats win control of the House in November.
The poll found that 58% said it is "very likely" Trump would be impeached, while just 11% did not believe he would be impeached.
The survey did not question whether respondents believed the president would be removed by the Senate.
Republicans currently control both chambers of Congress, but Democrats are hoping to flip both chambers in the midterms this November. Democrats' best chance at regaining control of a chamber is the House, where all seats are up for reelection.
The survey was conducted May 21 and 24-25, 2026, and has a 3% margin of error.
