You Vote: Will Kid Rock recover from losing corporate deals, TV appearances for supporting Trump?
The musician made the comments after releasing his latest album "Halfway 2 Jesus," which he has described as a blend of Christian themes with high-energy rock.
Musician Kid Rock said Wednesday that his relationship and support of President Donald Trump has strained friendships, cost him corporate deals and late-night talk show appearances, but he does not appear to regret it.
The comment comes just days after the musician released his latest album "Halfway 2 Jesus," which he has described as a blend of Christian themes with high-energy rock.
Kid Rock told Fox News that while the relationship with Trump has cost him things, it has also rewarded him the freedom to speak his mind and put out the kind of message he wants to.
"My relationship with Trump, yeah, that canceled all the, uh, any corporate deals coming my way," the rocker admitted. "I don't really get invited to be part of, you know, things like the NFL or things like that … all the shows that I was so friendly with over the years, from all the late-night talk shows to my friend Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, I don't really get invited on there anymore.
