Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., on Tuesday is set to launch the "Rescuing America" project, an economic messaging plan for the November elections.

Scott shared the project's debut video with Politico, before its public release.

“I put together a project with one goal — to educate the American public on how our economy has drastically changed, how the American dream is out of reach for so many, and how we can fix it,” he said.

Republicans have struggled to reach voters on the economy in recent months, notably amid rising energy costs from the Iran war. The issue has traditionally proven decisive for driving both turnout and support and could prove ruinous for the GOP if their message fails to resonate with voters.
