Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger is making a play for rural Trump voters in the final days of the campaign.
The Democrat visited western and southwestern Virginia on Monday as part of her "Virginia Votes Bus Tour." As part of her efforts, she visited a struggling rural hospital in Lee County and a hard cidery in Bristol.
Spanberger is currently the front runner for the governor's mansion and leads Republican Winsome Earle-Sears in both polling and betting odds.
The down-ballot races, however, are more competitive, with the attorney general contest currently favoring incumbent Republican Jason Miyares.
