Authorities found the cylindrical item at roughly 10:30 a.m. near the 43rd street precinct building, the New York Post reported, citing local law enforcement.
Kristina Partsinevelos, a CNBC reporter, posted footage of authorities clearing out the area, but stated that it "looks to be okay now."
