More than 100 vehicles were caught in a pileup on an interstate in Michigan amid heavy snows.

The crash, which included more than 30 semi trucks, prompted Michigan State Police to suspend travel in both directions along interstate 196 in the state. The state police said that there have been multiple injuries, but no deaths reported, according to ABC News.

Drone footage released on Monday afternoon gave a birdseye view of the massive accident scene, which local authorities are working to clear. The police estimated the cleanup operation could take several hours.

The snows are part of a major winter storm that swept through the United States this week, which the National Weather Service warned would impact several states with extremely cold temperatures, including Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.

On Sunday, snow reached as far south as the Florida Panhandle, a rarity for the sunshine state.
