A top Trump aide is livid with the Nobel Committee for its decision to again pass up the 47th president for the Peace Prize.

President Donald Trump has long sought the Nobel Peace Prize and has received multiple nominations throughout his time in office. This year, however, the committee selected Maria Corina Machado, a Venezuelan anti-regime figure, for the award, despite Trump brokering a peace deal to end the Gaza War.

"President Trump will continue making peace deals, ending wars, and saving lives.

He has the heart of a humanitarian, and there will never be anyone like him who can move mountains with the sheer force of his will, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung said. "The Nobel Committee proved they place politics over peace."

Trump himself has claimed credit for ending multiple wars since returning to the White House, including conflicts between Rwanda and the Congo, Armenia and Azerbaijan, India and Pakistan, Israel and Gaza, and several more.
