President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced a fraud investigation into California as a probe into large-scale fraud in Minnesota heats up.
"California, under Governor Gavin Newscum, is more corrupt than Minnesota, if that’s possible??? The Fraud Investigation of California has begun. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" Trump posted on Truth Social.
Trump did not provide any details into the investigation. The announcement comes in the wake of revelations of mass fraud in Minnesota linked to the Somali expat community in Minneapolis.
Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., on Monday announced he would not seek reelection amid the scandal.
