President Donald Trump this week endorsed Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., for reelection in 2026, saying he was "doing a fantastic job representing Arizona’s 9th Congressional District!"
"A MAGA Warrior, who has been with us from the very beginning, Paul is working hard to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Advance American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Support our Brave Military/Veterans, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment," Trump posted on Truth Social.
"Dr. Paul Gosar has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" he added.
Gosar first won election to Congress in 2010 and has been one of the most conservative members of the House. He is a member of the Freedom Caucus.
He achieved a degree of public notoriety in 2021 after his office released a hype video that superimposed his image over a main character of the popular anime series "Attack on Titan" that showed him fighting his political opponents.
