Trump backs 'Halo' composer Marty O'Donnell in Nevada House race
O'Donnell is running against Susie Lee, whom Trump characterized as "a true Radical Left Extremist who does not represent the Values of Southern Nevada."
President Donald Trump on Tuesday endorsed Republican Marty O'Donnell in the race to represent Nevada's 3rd Congressional District.
O'Donnell previously sought the party nomination in 2024, but did not move on to the general election. He is best known as the co-composer for the soundtracks to Bungie's Halo video game series, as well as other popular titles released by the developer such as Destiny.
"Marty O’Donnell is a World-Class Composer and Entrepreneur who knows the America First Policies required to Create GREAT Jobs, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote NO TAX ON TIPS, Advance MADE IN THE U.S.A., and Champion our Nation’s Golden Age," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Marty O'Donnell has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District."
O'Donnell is running against Democratic Rep. Susie Lee, whom Trump characterized as "a true Radical Left Extremist who does not represent the Values of Southern Nevada."
Cook Political Report currently rates the seat as a D+1 race.
