Trump denies report he sought to name Ford's Theater after himself

President Donald Trump on Thursday denied reports that his administration sought to rename the site of President Abraham Lincoln's assassination after himself.
Ford's Theater, situated in Washington, D.C., is best known as the venue where John Wilkes Booth assassinated Lincoln in 1865. Multiple reports broke this week that administration officials were considering a plan to add Trump's name to the site.
"The Dumocrats make up lie after lie. The new one is that I want Ford’s Theater named after me. That’s where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. Who would want that? I don’t! It is FAKE NEWS started by MSDNC AND CNN," Trump said of the matter.
