Trump restores Presidential Fitness Test Award

He previously signed an order in 2025 to restore the Presidential Fitness Test, which was ended during the Obama administration.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed a proclamation restoring the Presidential Fitness Test Award.

"Today, I sign a proclamation recognizing national youth sports and fitness, and I'll also sign the very first copy of the revitalized Presidential Fitness Test award," he said.

Present for the event were several Cabinet members, including Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Education Secretary Linda McMahon. 

A group of young American athletes also attended the event.
