President Donald Trump has cast a vote by mail in a Florida special election to fill a state Senate seat in a toss-up district.
Democrat Emily Gregory and Republican Jon Maples are competing to replace former state Sen. Mike Caruso, The Hill reported. The outlet cited records from the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections when reporting that Trump mailed in his ballot earlier in March.

The president has long criticized mail-in voting, which he partly blames for his 2020 election loss. At present, he is throwing his support behind the SAVE America Act, which includes provisions to restrict the practice.
