U.S. delegation walks out on Iranian president during UN speech

The American delegation at the United Nations walked out during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's speech to the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.

Pezeshkian arrived in person in New York City to address the UNGA, amid the ongoing war between the United States and Iran. He used the address to insist that Iran was acting in self-defense, was not a terrorist state, and that the U.S. was using those labels to mask its own alleged support for terrorism.

The U.S. representative was filmed leaving the room during Pezeshkian's remarks.

Outside the UNGA, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) staged its second day of protests against the Islamic regime, calling for an end to state executions and the ouster of the current government.
