Vance blasts Israel over 'symbolic vote' to annex West Bank

Vice President JD Vance on Thursday condemned the Israeli Knesset over a "symbolic vote" to annex the West Bank, asserting that it was a "stupid" move and ran counter to Trump administration policy.
"If it was a political stunt, it was a very stupid political stunt and I personally take some insult to it. The West Bank is not gonna be annexed by Israel," he told reporters. "That will continue to be our policy... we certainly weren't happy about it."
The Knesset, this week, voted on a sovereignty bill to apply Israeli law to the West Bank, which Israel refers to as Judea and Samaria, NBC News reported.
