Vance to host White House press briefing
Since President Donald Trump named him the "fraud czar," Vance has increasingly been in the spotlight, leading a crackdown on misuses of public funds across the nation.
Vice President JD Vance will fill in for White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday by hosting the press briefing, The Hill reported.
Vance's stint in the briefing room follows Secretary of State Marco Rubio filling the slot earlier this month. Leavitt is on maternity leave and Trump administration officials are taking turns fielding press questions.

That effort has seen his task force uncover fraud from Los Angeles to Maine. He has also made several appearances in those states to stump for Republican candidates and tout the administration's efforts.
