AG Garland set to testify before House Judiciary Committee in September

Attorney General Merrick Garland will testify before the House Judiciary Committee on September 20, CNN reports. The hearing is scheduled as a routine oversight hearing; however, Garland is likely to be grilled by Congressional Republicans on Hunter Biden’s plea deal and the Justice Department’s investigations into former President Donald Trump.
