Gun Owners of America National Spokesman Luis Valdes says the increase in gun ownership proves how Americans have come to understand and appreciate their Second Amendment rights. “You have had a dramatic reduction in crime within the last 30 to 40 years while at the same time, you’ve had a dramatic uptick in Americans being able to legally own and legally carry firearms,” says Valdes.
