Biden commends Turkish President Erdoğan’s agreement to back Sweden’s bid to NATO
President Joe Biden held a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of NATO’s 74th annual summit in Vilnius, Lithuania Tuesday. Biden thanked President Erdoğan for working with the United States to ensure Sweden’s “historic” accession to the military alliance.
