Indian Prime Minister tells Putin to end Ukraine war
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told Vladimir Putin that “today’s era is not of war.” The comment made during a face to face meeting on Friday, appears to be a direct rebuff of the Ukrainian invasion.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Modi also told Putin quote, “I will also get an opportunity to understand your point of view.” He asked the Russian leader to cease hostilities and called for dialogue and diplomacy.
