Iranian protests claim an estimated 378 lives to date

An estimated 338 people have died in over two months of Iranian protests. Despite this, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei claims the protests are "doomed to failure."



Iranian human rights organization, Iran Human Rights published the estimated death toll Saturday, adding that it includes 47 children killed by security forces.

A representative for Hengaw, the Norway registered human rights organization monitoring human rights violations in these regions told CNN Saturday that a "critical situation" in the Kurdish city of Divandareh where the organization said in a tweet that security forces had opened fire on protesters.
