Ireland: At least 10 dead after petrol station blast

At least ten people have died – including a young girl – after a petrol station exploded in northwest Ireland, according to an official statement. The Irish police say, “the search and recovery for further fatalities continue.” The blast happened after 3pm, local time on Friday in county Donegal, causing widespread damage. Ireland’s foreign affairs minister Simon Coveney tweeted earlier Saturday: “such a dark day for Ireland as tragedy continues to unfold in Donegal.”
