Landmark national security trial of Hong Kong pro-democracy activists underway
A high-profile trial began in Hong Kong on Monday for a landmark national security law case involving 47 pro-democracy activists. So far, sixteen defendants expected to take the stand today have been charged with conspiracy to commit subversion under the law and have pled not guilty.
