PFA’s negatively effect growth and development in children and young adults

New research shows PFA’s, short for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, disrupt how children, teens, and young adults make and use fats, lipids, and proteins. Too much exposure effects their development and growth, leading to obesity, liver disease, diabetes, and possibly cancer. A 14-year CDC study found 98% of Americans have PFA’s in their blood.
