Prof. Alejo Vidal-Quadras: Europe’s appeasement policy toward Iran increases regime’s aggressiveness

Professor Alejo Vidal-Quadras, former Vice President of the European Parliament, says Europe’s 40-year-old policy of appeasement toward Iran is a failure. “It’s counterproductive because the Iranian regime understands this policy as weakness. Vidal-Quadras urges Europe to increase diplomatic pressure, enact stricter sanctions, and support the National Council of Resistance of Iran—the Iranian political opposition to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
