Sen. Scott files to run for president in 2024

According to the Federal Elections Commission’s website, Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) filed paperwork to run for president in the 2024 election. A formal campaign announcement from Sen. Scott is expected to take place in South Carolina on Monday.
