WHO Director: Covid-19 continues to leave deep scars on the world

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus held a press briefing Friday to address the end of the Covid-19 global health emergency. Ghebreyesus said the scars left by the virus must serve as a “permanent reminder” of the potential for new viruses to emerge with devastating consequences.
