Parental rights organization Moms For Liberty held its fourth annual national summit last week in Orlando, Florida. Amid the thousands of attendees was one unexpected guest: actress, liberal activist and influencer, Angela Belcamino.

"I've been joking that when I got the invitation to come, I was like, do they know who I am? Do they mean this? But they did mean it, and it's beautiful. Everyone has been so welcoming. It's been so positive. Just great dialog. Everyone there. We have so much more in common than you think."

Belcamino, who hosts a show on YouTube called BOLDTALK, has spoken out about many political issues across her social media accounts and on her YouTube channel, which boasts over 12,000 subscribers.

More than 4 million views

While the Mom's For Liberty draws a more traditional crowd which supports ideas like the conventional family structure, just last year Belcamino posted a video on X hailing her kid-free life at 42 years old.

Along with the video sent to her more than 200,000 followers, she wrote: "I’m 42. Child-free. Sunday Funday, no babysitter needed. The right hate this." The post amassed over four million views.

However, Belcamino, who has lived in New York for many years but recently fled Florida, told Just The News' editor-in-chief John Solomon, "I was not feeling safe and not happy with New York recently."

Belcamino: "I'm not rooting for the country to fail"

Belcamino fled New York amid rising crime that she felt might get worse under Democrat mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, should he win. She told Solomon, "I'm concerned for New York, but very happy to be here. It's a bit of a transition. I would say it was a turning point with the last election. Yeah, I accepted the results. Trump won. America spoke. And I'm rooting for the country. I'm not rooting for the country to fail."

Many New Yorkers have transplanted to Florida to the tune of 91,000 in 2022 alone. Fleers cite the usual reasons: weather, rising costs, rising crime and traffic. But many New Yorkers are reportedly accelerating their plans to move to Florida with the prospect of a Mamdani mayoralship.

Solomon, asking Belcamino about her online moniker and if she had abandoned the "Bold Lib" tag displayed in her social media bio.

"Have I shed it? No, because I think it's bold to ask questions and speak up."
