Dr. Phil interviews with Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will air in coming days on his new network
Dr. Phil's interview with Trump will air Aug. 27 and Kennedy Jr.'s will air Aug. 28.
Dr. Phil McGraw will air his recent interviews with GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and former Democrat-turned-independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the next few days.
This report comes shortly after Kennedy Jr. endorsed Trump for president on Friday and suspended his campaign.
Dr. Phil's interview with Trump will air Aug. 27 and Kennedy Jr.'s will air Aug. 28, according to The Hill. They will air on Merit Street, the digital and TV broadcast network that Dr. Phil launched this past April.
The interviews were conducted with the candidates after Kennedy Jr.'s campaign was suspended. Trump was interviewed in Nevada while Kennedy Jr. was interviewed in Arizona.
Kennedy Jr. has for weeks attracted speculation that he may drop out and endorse one of the major candidates in exchange for a role in their administration.
He explained Friday that his name would remain on the ballot in dominant red and blue states, but removed in swing states such as Arizona.
"I want everyone to know I am not terminating my campaign," he said during the press conference. "I am simply suspending it, but not ending it."
