FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is reportedly mulling his resignation if Attorney General Pam Bondi does not step down amid reports of disagreements between the two over the Epstein case.

The Daily Wire first reported Bongino's deliberations, citing "a source close to Bongino." Indpendent journalist Julie Kelly subsequently corroborated  that reporting, citing "sources."

The reports follow Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche earlier in the day denying any disagreement between Bongino, Bondi, and FBI Director Kash Patel over the leaked memo that concluded there was no evidence Epstein engaged in widespread blackmail.

Patel, for his part, is also reportedly considering his departure should Bongino opt to resign. As of press time, Bondi has not indicated any intention of resigning.
