Two service members deployed at southern US border killed in vehicle accident
The names of the service members have not been made public.
Two service members were killed in a vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
Three service members were deployed in support of Joint Task Force Southern Border and were involved in a vehicle accident, according to a U.S. Northern Command press release. The third was injured and is in critical condition at a hospital.
Their names have not been made public.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of two service members today near Santa Teresa," New Mexico Democratic Rep. Gabe Vasquez said in a statement in response to the incident, according to a Fox News affiliate.
