Ten Democrats vote with Republicans to censure Rep. Al Green for disrupting Trump's speech
Green is the 28th member of the House to get a rebuke from Congress.
Ten House Democrats on Thursday voted with Republicans to censure Rep. Al Green, D-Texas., for disrupting President Donald Trump's address to Congress.
The Democrats who voted to censure their colleague were: Ami Bera' of California; Ed Case, of Hawaii; Jim Costa, of California; Laura Gillen, of New York; Jim Himes, of Connecticut; Chrissy Houlahan, of Pennsylvania; Marcy Kaptur, of Ohio; Jared Moskowitz, of Florida; Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, of Washington; and Tom Suozzi of New York.
The vote was 224-198 with Green among two members who voted neither yes nor no, according to The Hill newspaper.
Green is the 28th member of the House to get a rebuke from Congress.
Green voted “present" when it came his time to vote.
