House Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets Chairwoman Anna Paulina Luna on Thursday demanded Attorney General Pam Bondi immediately release the long-awaited files on the late-financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The request comes after Epstein's most vocal sex-trafficking accuser, Virginia Giuffre, committed suicide last month.

Luna, who has been pushing the attorney general to release the list since she was chosen to lead the task force, demanded the files, along with Epstein's client list, be released in its entirety by May 16, without redactions except to protect victims.

“The crimes of Jeffrey Epstein implicated the most powerful members of our society in one of the most horrific sex trafficking rings to be uncovered in this century," Luna said in a press statement. “The survivors of Jeffrey Epstein as well as the American people deserve to know who among the elite protected, enabled, or participated in Epstein's disgusting racket."

Luna said the task force would also accept a briefing on the investigation, but would not tolerate any stonewalling. The letter also requests an explanation as to why there has been a hold-up when Bondi's office got the files from the FBI in February.

Bondi previously confirmed that her office received the files and that they were waiting for her review, but said on Wednesday that her office and the FBI are still going through tens of thousands of videos of Epstein and his victims.

“There are tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child porn and there are hundreds of victims,” Bondi said. “It’s just the volume and that’s what they’re going through right now. The FBI is diligently going through that.”

The letter to Bondi was also signed by GOP Reps. Tim Burchett of Tennessee, Eli Crane of Arizona and Eric Burlison of Missouri.
