Congressman Scott Perry, R-Pa., on Wednesday trolled former press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who announced she was leaving the Democratic Party.

"The fact that we don't have to listen to or see KJP anymore makes our lives markedly and measurably better every single minute of every day," Perry said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "That having been said, if she had a shred of decency, a shred of honor [or] a shred of integrity, she would have resigned much prior to this, and told America the truth about President Biden and his faculties, or lack thereof."

Jean-Pierre reportedly reveals in her upcoming book that she left the Democratic Party to become an independent.

“Jean-Pierre didn’t come to her decision to be an independent lightly,” the publisher's description of the book states. “She takes us through the three weeks that led to Biden’s abandoning his bid for a second term and the betrayal by the Democratic Party that led to his decision.”

Former President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race in July, following a poor debate performance against President Trump and amid questions over his mental and physical capabilities to continue in the White House.

"Unfortunately, she's just, she's departing the Democrat Party, the party of censorship, the party of lies, and now is going to go out and act like somehow she's bona fide and is to be believed, because she's no longer a Democrat," Perry said. "And I guess she's going to go try and destroy the Independent Party now."
