Here are the Republican holdouts who flipped in favor of Trump's 'One Big Beautiful Bill'
The House of Representatives passed the megabill in a 218-214 split. GOP Reps. Thomas Massie, of Kentucky, and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, of Pennsylvania, joined all House Democrats in opposing the legislation.
A group of hardline and moderate Republican lawmakers seemed torn on passing President Donald Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" heading into Thursday's House vote, but every GOP member except for two ended up voting for it.
The House of Representatives passed the megabill in a 218-214 vote. GOP Reps. Thomas Massie, of Kentucky, and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, of Pennsylvania, joined all House Democrats in opposing the legislation.
The House initially passed the legislation in May, but Senate Republicans made big enough changes to it that it was sent back to the lower chamber for another vote after they passed it on Tuesday. It now heads to Trump's desk for his signature.
Here are the Republican lawmakers who appeared ready to oppose the megabill this week before flipping on Thursday:
House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Harris
Former House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Biggs
House Freedom Caucus member Scott Perry
House Freedom Caucus member Andy Ogles
House Freedom Caucus member Chip Roy
House Freedom Caucus member Ralph Norman
Texas Rep. Keith Self
Moderate California Rep. David Valdao
Moderate California Rep. Young Kim
Moderate Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon
Moderate New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew
Moderate New York Rep. Nick LaLota.
The passage marks a significant achievement for House Speaker Mike Johnson and Trump, who corralled Republican hardliners all day Wednesday in order to get the necessary support.
