An illegal immigrant from Venezuela accused of killing nursing student Laken Riley waived his right to a jury trial on Tuesday.

Riley was a 22-year-old Augusta University College of Nursing student who was allegedly killed by 26-year-old Jose Antonio Ibarra on February 22 while running on the University of Georgia’s campus.
