Judge Arun Subramanian on Wednesday ordered famed hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs to remain locked up in prison while he awaits his sentencing in October, after a jury found him guilty earlier in the day of two of the five charges he faced.

Combs was found not guilty on the more serious charges of racketeering and sex-trafficking, but was convicted of felony Mann Act violations for the transportation of two former girlfriends and male prostitutes. He now faces up to 10 years in prison for each charge.

Subramanian rejected Combs' request for bail, noting the mogul's history of domestic violence that the defense admitted to during the trial, and stated that the defense failed to prove their client posed “no danger to any person.”

“You full-throatedly in your closing argument told the jury that there was violence here,” the judge said, per the New York Times.

Combs' legal team had requested their client be released on $1 million bail, but federal prosecutors pushed to keep Combs locked up pending his sentencing, which requires prison time.

Subramanian also scheduled the sentencing for October, but said the 10 months that Combs has already served in prison will be counted toward the final sentence. Federal prosecutors said they are requesting the full 20-year sentence.
