Two Pennsylvania State Police troopers were shot Thursday morning, Gov. Josh Shapiro says.
The incident occurred in Susquehanna County, in the northeastern part of the state, the governor said at an event in Philadelphia.
A state police spokesperson said the location was along Route 171 about 40 miles north of Scranton, according to the Associated Press.
