DOJ Special Attorney on 'mortgage fraud,' Ed Martin, visits Letitia James’ Brooklyn home
Special prosecutor Ed Martin was appointed to the post about a week ago by Attorney General Pam Bondi.
The special attorney appointed by the Justice Department to probe potential mortgage fraud by New York Attorney General Tish James was on Friday spotted outside of her Brooklyn home.
The attorney, Ed Martin, was seen in a video posted by The New York Post outside of the multifamily residential property.
Martin was appointed to the post about a week ago by Attorney General Pam Bondi to run parallel potential mortgage-fraud probes into James and her California Democrat Sen. Adam Schiff.
Grand juries in Virginia and Maryland are weighing separate criminal indictments for James and Schiff, respectively, over allegations they falsified property records to secure favorable loan terms, The Post also reports.
