FBI director Kash Patel to run ATF as acting director, official says

Newly-confirmed FBI director, Kash Patel, is expected to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as acting director, according to a report citing White House officials.

According to NBC News and the Associated Press, Patel could be sworn-in as early as next week.

Patel was sworn-in as FBI director on Friday.
