FBI Director Kash Patel to testify in front of Senate Judiciary Committee next week

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday posted a notice that FBI Director Kash Patel will testify in front of the panel next week.
The hearing is part of the committee's oversight of the bureau and comes as the Trump administration faces renewed bipartisan scrutiny over its handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case. The notice did not cite an exact reason for the hearing.

House Republicans on the Oversight Committee released a trove of files related to Epstein on Monday, which included a birthday book that the Wall Street Journal claims includes a message from President Donald Trump. The White House has denied that Trump signed the book.
