The Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a bulletin on Friday warning the public about safety threats made toward Tesla products and properties.

The agency said attacks on Tesla vehicles, sales centers, and supercharging stations have taken place in 9 states.

“These incidents have involved arson, gunfire, and vandalism, including graffiti expressing grievances against those the perpetrators perceive to be racists, fascists, or political opponents,” the bulletin said. “These criminal actions appear to have been conducted by lone offenders, and all known incidents occurred at night.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi has described the attacks as "domestic terrorism," and warned participants they face jail time.

“Let this be a warning: If you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars,” Bondi said in a press release about the arrests made so far.
