Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Monday night announced an investigation into allegedly inappropriate National Security Agency (NSA) chatrooms, where federal workers discussed sexual fantasies under the guise of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

The Manhattan Institute on Monday obtained the chat logs for the Intelink chatrooms, which revealed intelligence community employees discussing their experiences with gender-reassignment surgery, artificial genitalia, hormone therapy, and lewd sexual experiences, among others, Fox News reported.

Gabbard slammed the inappropriate use of the chatrooms as "unacceptable" and vowed to hold those who participated in the chats "accountable."

"This behavior is unacceptable and those involved WILL be held accountable," Gabbard posted on X. "These disgusting chat groups were immediately shut down when [President Donald Trump] issued his [executive order] ending the DEI insanity the Biden Admin was obsessed with.

"Our [Intelligence Community] must be focused on our core mission: ensuring the safety, security, and freedom of the American people," she added.

The chats in question were part of the NSA's Intelink Messenger, with the rooms titled "LBTQA" and "IC_Pride_TWG," according to the Manhattan Institute. A source who witnessed the chats told the Institute about the discussions because of concern about the mental fitness of the employees, including when some officials used "it/its" pronouns.

"These are folks with top secret clearances believing they are an IT!" the source told Manhattan Institute's Chris Rufo.
