Man arrested for stealing DHS Secretary Noem's purse living in U.S. illegally, official says
The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia also says law enforcement is searching for a second suspect who is living in the country illegally.
The man who was arrested for stealing the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's purse is living in U.S. illegally, according to an official.
Noem’s bag was stolen last Sunday night when she was eating dinner with her family in Washington, D.C.
Ed Martin, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, said the man is living the country illegally.
He also said law enforcement is searching for a second suspect who is living in the country illegally.
