Noem says DHS has identified some of the people who leaked ICE raid
Noem said the department was using polygraph tests to find the individuals responsible, along with reviewing emails of suspects, and auditing their communications.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Monday said her department has identified some of the people who leaked information about an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid before it took place.
The secretary did not reveal who was behind the leaks, but it was allegedly related to an ICE raid that targeted the Venezuelan criminal gang, Tren de Aragua.
Noem said the department was using polygraph tests to find the individuals responsible, along with reviewing emails of suspects, and auditing their communications.
“I have found some leakers. We are continuing to get more. They will be fired. There will be consequences,” Noem told Fox News. "Remember when they leak information to the press to blow it up, they are putting law-enforcement lives in jeopardy.
"It’s amazing how these bureaucrats, who have an agenda to stop the work we’re doing to bring safety to America, how they will sell each other down the river just to protect themselves," she continued.
Noem added that her department is doing everything that it can to protect law enforcement personnel and stop the leaks.
