The arrest of Ian Andre Roberts by ICE in late September when he was superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools has exposed a lengthy domestic criminal record.

Roberts, who is now in custody at the Polk County jail, faces charges including illegal weapons possession and other serious counts, according to Fox News

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said he “should never have been serving” in a job overseeing children.

Roberts’ LinkedIn claimed he was an “incoming MBA candidate” at MIT’s Sloan School of Management but MIT confirmed it has no record of him as a student.

His criminal history includes charges in Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York such as reckless driving, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, drug possession, forgery and criminal possession of weapons.
