Man pulls a gun next to CIA headquarters, putting spy agency outside DC into 'lockdown'
The CIA headquarters were sent into lockdown.
An unidentified man on Wednesday morning brandished a gun outside of CIA headquarters in suburban Virginia, resulting in a mass response that included bombs and SWAT teams.
The gunman did not fire shots, and no injuries were reported. However, the headquarters, on the banks of the Potomac River outside of Washington, D.C., was put on lockdown.
An official in Fairfax County, where the incident occurred, told ABC News's local affiliate that the CIA is leading the investigation.
