A U.S. Coast Guard C101 plane that carried Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin made an emergency landing Wednesday after it suffered an unexpected engine failure.
Mullin was traveling from Georgia to Washington, D.C., when the plane was forced to divert to the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Virginia, according to Fox News.

The cause of the engine failure was not immediately clear.
