The Secret Service on Tuesday confirmed that it has suspended two female officers who engaged in a brawl outside of former President Barack Obama's Washington, D.C. residence last week.

The altercation comes after a different Secret Service agent last year was accused of attacking her supervisor after he relieved her of her duties for screaming at coworkers.

It is not clear what started the fight on May 21, which took place while the two officers were in uniform, but one officer allegedly called for her superiors to arrive "before I whoop this girl's ass."

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of an on-duty altercation that occurred between two Uniformed Division officers at approximately 2:30 a.m. on May 21,” a Secret Service spokesperson told the New York Post. “The individuals involved were suspended from duty and this matter is the subject of an internal investigation.

"The Secret Service has a very strict code of conduct for all employees and any behavior that violates that code is unacceptable. Given this is a personnel matter, we are not in a position to comment further," the person added.

RealClearPolitics released footage of the fight on X, and a source told the outlet that the fight was over one of the women arriving to replace the other late, and that the person arriving late brought the wrong car.
